David Dillon

28.10.1947 – 26.04.2026

At his very core, David was a humble and honourable man; hardworking, calm and quietly inspirational.

A devoted family man and a loyal companion to all who knew him, David was a most loving father, father-in-law, brother, uncle, grandfather, husband, cousin and friend. A proud Pa and Dad through and through!

David had a presence that was impossible to miss. Whether at a sporting event, a family gathering or simply walking one of his beloved dogs – Barney, Sebbie and Sammy, he was always smiling, with that cheeky glint in his eye, and his face would simply light up the moment he spoke about his children and grandchildren.

He was passionate about everything in his life, strong-willed and determined right until the very end, a true fighter in every sense of the word.

A private cremation is being arranged and all the details of David’s celebration of life are below.

    Amanda, Chris and Family

Please accept our deepest condolences for the passing your dad, Dave.

To Sally, Jo and I, he’ll always be our happy and Fitzroy and cricket loving neighbor, ‘Uncle Dave’ who also loved having a kick of the footy in the street with us boys.

My apologies for not being able to attend today – however, the Moncur family will be thinking of you.

Wishing you all the very best
    D.Paul Moncur 🙂
