Isobel Esmore 78, of Eganstown, born Patricia Isobel Matthew in Gosford, NSW on 16th June 1947, passed away peacefully on 8th March 2026 in Ballarat.
She was well known for her kind and calm nature, her smile and her ability to make you feel at ease in her company. She loved her dogs, the most recent being Maddy, Sam and Tess.
She was a farmer, shop assistant and business owner of Melbourne-based Pet Meals on Wheels in the 1970’s. Later as a massage therapist, she built up a successful business, the Massage Healing Centre in Daylesford and supported her husband, Ian in his property-based ventures by designing fit-outs, colour schemes and sourcing fittings.
She had a life-long passion for fibre-crafting, felting and weaving and collecting anything from sticks, feathers, dried corn husks and palm fronds to make baskets, and ended up with not so many hand-crafted products and baskets, but lots of items to make them with. She was interested in helping people and had an ambition to impart fun into everyday life, she was drawn to the esoteric, reading books and caravanning. She loved gardening and walking her dog.
Beloved wife of the late Ian Esmore. Mother of Elizabeth and Fraser. Dear sister of Dianne and Bronwyn. Sister-in-law to Barry, Kevin, Geoff, Olga, Kaye and Geraldine. Auntie to a number of nieces and nephews.

Farewell my beautiful friend.
So many fond memories of shared hilarity and silliness. And our mutual love of nature and art, collecting random very “special” bits of twisty wood and bark on our nature walks. We really “got” each other. Thanks for all those lovely shared times. I feel your love and know you are now free to soar on the inner realmsšššš
