13 Places to have a memorial style funeral in Melbourne

At Tomorrow we believe that creating a truly authentic funeral, one that represents your loved one is incredibly important. And if you’re organising a remarkable end of life celebration or something non-traditional, we have some excellent ideas. Here are 13 memorial style funeral ideas.

We’ve compiled a list of alternative funeral venues to get you started, but if you want further suggestions, don’t hesitate to touch base!

Our one simple funeral package includes a dignified cremation and memorial package including a bound keepsake book and website dedicated to your loved one. Additionally, we then carefully match you with one of our wonderful celebrants who will take time to plan a unique memorial event, tailored specifically for your person.

For our Melbourne clients, here is a list of great venues where you could host a truly memorable memorial event. Or if you’re looking to do something in Geelong or the Surf Coast.

1. Elwood Bathers

A stylish yet pared back venue overlooking the waves. Their amazing food and drinks are perfect for those who prefer something a little bit classier than triangle sandwiches. One of our partner venues, Elwood Bathers has everything you need from audio visual equipment to the perfect beach side vibe.

2. Captain Melville

Melbourne’s city venue, Captain Melville is a little bit hip! Toast your loved one with a cocktail in a refitted 1850s building with exposed-sandstone walls. Another partner venue offering our clients incredible deals for a memorial style funeral.
