How do we plan a memorial service?
At Tomorrow, we specialise in ‘non-traditional’ memorial services, (meaning ‘outside of a church or funeral parlour.’) Our memorial events are also held after the cremation, without a coffin present.
Our funeral package includes a dignified cremation, an experienced funeral Celebrant and a ‘stories bundle’ with lots of inclusions like a tribute video, a bound keepsake book and personal website dedicated to your loved one. The Tomorrow Funeral package is $6,800 and includes everything you need for the cremation and ceremony aspect.
This simple package works well with ‘Royal South Yarra’s’ own event packages.
On top of that, your Tomorrow Funeral Celebrant will be there to help you every step of the way to book and liaise with RSYLTC, if you need that kind of support. We will give you trustworthy support here, as we do not take any kind of commission when helping our clients book extra services they may require. We are not affiliated with the club (or any venue.) We simply believe in recommending the very best suppliers.
Why should we choose RSYLTC for a memorial?
The renowned chefs at South Yarra Lawn Tennis Club offer the perfect food and beverage packages. In fact, they cater for wakes at a very reasonable cost, compared to their high standard.
The club’s quality amenities are excellent and the location is central. RSYLTC has several impressive private event spaces which are treasured for their place in Melbourne’s sporting history.
RSYTC’s three recommended private event spaces have beautiful views of Como Park, the Yarra River and Melbourne city skyline.
The Como Room is the club’s largest function space and can seat 250 guests for a cocktail function.
The Norman Brookes Room is a slightly more intimate function space, but can still offer sit-down meals for up to 90 people o rcocktail events for 150.
The Western Terrace is an outdoor area with a brand new marquee allowing guests the option of fresh air in all weather and can also be used in conjunction with either the Como Room or the Norman Brookes Room to provide an extra outdoor area.
The food and beverage packages at RSYLTC offer reasonably priced options considering the very high standard of service. The team will support you in planning this important occasion with care and compassion.

Do I need to be a member at RSYTC, to book their event spaces?
You do not need to be a member to book a memorial style funeral at the Royal South Yarra Tennis Club. We can assist with your booking and deal directly with the club, (at no additional cost to you,) or you can manage the booking yourselves.
