Beloved husband of Sandra (dec.) and loving partner to Peggy, father to Andrew and Paul, dearly loved Pop to Nicholas, Emily and Zoe.
Ken passed away suddenly at age 87 years, after a short battle with cancer.
His sons Andrew and Paul remember him as a calm, positive and friendly man. He made time for everyone and especially enjoyed spending time with family.
Ken had a love of travel and sport, especially hockey where he was a player, umpire, administrator and passionate manager and coach. After retiring from a career with Customs, he was a dedicated volunteer at the MCC, Kiwanis, Probus and other community organisations, including The Queenscliff Information Centre.
He enjoyed spending time with the close circle of friends he had whilst raising a family in Lower Templestowe with his wife, Sandra and more recently in Point Lonsdale where he made his home with Peggy.
A private cremation was arranged, followed by a wonderful life celebration.

Thank you Ken for the lovely happy times we shared with you & Sandra & your sons Andrew & Paul. Many years have passed since we first met on the beach at Dromana. So sad to hear of Ken’s passing, Sandra, his wife and I were friends through kindergarten, school and our working life so when Sandra met Ken a friendship automatically began which included both our weddings, socialising, children’s sporting activities and travel.
After Sandra’s passing Peg came into Ken’s life and once again we socialised and travelled together, after a period of time Ken and Peg decided to live full time at Point Lonsdale so with distance between us we seemed to have lost contact over the past few years.
To Andrew, Paul, Peg and families, my thoughts are with you, be strong and remember all the wonderful times you have shared together.
Ken was a great man, he was always so warm and engaging. He demonstrated much love for his family and he made my girls and I feel that we were part of that. I will miss him dearly but will always be grateful to have met him.
A truely great mentor and role model – I feel privileged to have worked with Ken.
Connected through hockey, I had the delight of knowing Ken for over 30 years. An absolute gentleman and a ripping good human.
Ken’s wife Sandra & I were friends from kindergarten through out our school life, working years, marriage, children & retirement, Ken was my son’s God Father & I’m God Mother to Paul.
When Ken came into Sandra’s life & John into mine we spent many good times together both socially and travelling, life with Sandra & Ken was fun.
After Sandra passed away & Peg came into Ken’s life once again the four of us socialised together, my husband passed away at around the same time Peg & Ken decided to
spend their time at Point Lonsdale. Unfortunately with distance separating us we gradually lost contact.
To Andrew, Paul, Peggy and your families I send my love to you all, be brave and remember all the good time spent together. Sue
