Marnong Estate sits on 1,200 acres of working farmland and vineyard in Mickleham, just 35 minutes north of Melbourne’s CBD. Rolling hills, established vines, and views stretching out to the Macedon Ranges, it’s a setting that asks nothing of the people in it except to be present.
What makes Marnong particularly well suited to a celebration of life is the choice of three distinct spaces, each with its own character: the grand Angliss Room for larger gatherings, the heritage Woolshed for something warmer and more rural, and the vineyard-facing Green Grove for a more intimate farewell. We can help you work out which one suits what you have in mind.

Service then wake
The Woolshed for the service, followed by guests moving into the Angliss Room for the wake, works beautifully. The shift in spaces gives the day a natural rhythm one moment for ceremony, one for gathering.

With capacity for up to 300 in the Angliss Room, Marnong handles big families and larger communities with ease. The scale of the estate means even a large gathering never feels crowded, there is always somewhere to move, breathe and be.

35 minutes from Melbourne CBD and 15 minutes from the airport, with 250+ free parking spaces on site. For families travelling from interstate, it's one of the most accessible estate venues in Victoria.
